    i have a 10gb hd on hdc1 and is ntfs.... i kinda cant play my mp3s on user.. but its ok on root... how do i change permissions easily for my user to play mp3's on hdc1?


    i was also playin with screen a while ago and as root i cant play my mp3's from hdc1(ntfs) mpg123 filename, but when i copy files to /root i can play them.... any ideas? thanks in advance...

    There is an option you need to flag in your fstab that will allow user's permissions to that drive. I will have to see if I can find it for you but in the meantime you should be able to google it.
