ifconfig+no connection established
Hi i have a cybercafe wich connected with VSAT Linkstar 1mb/s
i have set a server and i installed linux slackware
i have 2 netcards on the pc
one for the lan
and one connected to the DVB ( linkstar)
The first one is eth0 Lan
The second one is eth1 connection with DVB
i did everything with ifconfig and there is no connection

I wanna set this parameter to eth0
this is the ip addresses in windows . i wanna set them in linux

----------------------------------------------------
the ip addresses to the eth1

wich command to set them up and running thanks !

Have you tried using the "netconfig" command to configure your cards? Also take a look at this article, it may help you resolve your problems.

but can i netconfig the 2nd card ?

I don't really know because its been a long time since I used Slack. The link I pointed to has some stuff about using two or more network interfaces.
