    Lightbulb slackware newbie installation

    slackware-11.0-source-d5.iso.asc
    slackware-11.0-source-d5.iso.md5

    when dl these do u need both on one cd to fully install the program, and can someone tell me the difference, thanks between asc, and md5?

    You need to download the .iso to burn to cd. The asc and md5 files are just for verifying that the download of the .iso wasn't corrupted.
