How to get and install printer drivers - HP 2605
Recently I bought an HP CLJ 2605 printer. HP told me that they are supporting Linux, but there are (probably - I'm not fluent in Linux) no such files on the CD-ROM delivered by them. An alternative is to obtain the printer driver(s) from their website. This seems possible, but apparently Slackware is not supported. Still another suggestion which I pursued is to install (with addprinter or so) an older type of HP printer (the 2500), but that results in beautiful completely black pages.
Who has a positive experience with the use of this printer and can tell me exactly what to do to get this printer functioning under Slackware? By the way, it works under MS Windows, so the hardware is not resposible for the trouble.
Thank you beforehand.

It should be "perfect" according to http://openprinting.org/show_printer..._LaserJet_2605.
