Slackware for MythTV ??
Hi,
I'm building a PVR from an oldish PC (P4 2.66ghz, 512 RAM, 80GB HDD). Now as a way to learn about Linux I've decided to use MythTV. I'm very new to Linux. I've decided to download slackware current as it has the latest kernel (2.6.21.1) which will support my TV card(Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1300).
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions or even more important Don't do's or problems. At the moment the iso is being downloaded so I have a day or so to take all your suggestions on board

Here's another guide for installing mythTV on openSUSE that could help out as well.
