hey ive been wondering why mpg123 cant play the mp3 files on my /mnt directory which a ntfs partition. Although when i move my mp3 file on my home folder it plays.... is there a command im missing??

Thats strange , since changing the file system of a mp3 file doesn't affect the reading of it ! so please what did you get when you try to play them from your ntfs partition ,and also what program do you use ,is amarok or xmms or ,......

I use my mpg123 on console. heres the result:
i run this on my ntfs partition hdd1:
x10a-rxk@x10a-rxk:/mnt/hdd1/mp3s$ mpg123 -z *.mp3
