Slackware 12 window manager commands
Just a basic question:
My default WM is BlackBox which I can start with "startx", but what if I want to run xfce, KDE, fluxbox, etc? (I did the full install so they're all there)
What are the commands to load these alternate window managers? I don't want to run "xwmconfig" everytime to change the default.
Thanks

Ah, I found how you can load any window manager through KDM via options. Thanks aliov
But now how do you drop KDM and go back to Runlevel 3 without switching to a different terminal. Ctrl + Alt + Backspace just reloads KDM.

Your question it's not clear for me , but as i understood you want to prompt to runlevel 3 only so once you start your KDM manually or by setting the default runlevel in /etc/inittab you can always kill the windows manager by killall kdm. tell me if that it's not the answer of your question.
