    # Linux bootable partition Config Start
    mage = /boot/vmlinuz
    root = /dev/sda3
    label = Linux
    #Linux bootable Partition Config End

    other=/dev/sda2
    label=Windows
    table=/dev/sda
    The outcome of 'lilo -v' is

    Boot up from LiveCD and execute 'fdisk -l' command. Post output here.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
