Lilo : Booting Problem.
I Made a partition and installed Backtrack2.0
Following a video made by muts at
Installing Backtrack to Hard Disk - Dual Boot
As you see about 8 minutes in, he edits a lilo config at '/etc/lilo.conf'
So i did aswell, and done what he did to suit my system, now that should set the dual boot? Right ?
Anyway, i cant get Back into XP, i dual booted Backtrack2.0 and XP
Heres my lilo.conf
The outcome of 'lilo -v' islba32

Boot up from LiveCD and execute 'fdisk -l' command. Post output here.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

are you able to boot to you backtrack ? because from the lilo configuration it seems no !

I Cant boot into Backtrack LiveCD - i know this because, root / toor doesnt work only my password - and i can remove disk
Also
when i restart,
it goes straight to linux fine and dandy, Linux runs perfectly.

so as devil_casper said boot to Linux and then post the output of fdisk -l

Hey, its UK.Liam here (Differnt account, i recovered password)
I Got it working
Turns out vmlinuz wasnt in /boot/ it was in /
so changed it to /vmlinuz and i can dual boot, im on XP atm

same prob
I'm having the exact same problem as described above except I was unable to find vmware anywhere on my system and i haven't been able to find a good source to download it off of. Anyone have any ideas that could help?
