    I broke my Linux lol

I ended up reinstalling slackware and I have been trying to get beryl working again. I redownloaded everything and went to edit X11.conf to add a section called "Composite". The entry I made was

    Section "Composite"

    Option "Extension" "Enable"

    End Section

    Section "Screen"

    Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "true"
    Option "DisableGLXRootClipping" "true"

    End Section

    Section "Device"

Option "TripleBuffer" "true" #WARNING DISABLE IF UNDER 256MB OF MEM
    Option "RenderAccel" "true"
    Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "true"

    End Section

I went to reboot my computer and as its trying to start X11 it says.

    "Starting up X11 session manager..."
"STOPPING server from pid file /var/run/mysql/mysql.pid"
    "071022 19:50:23 mysql ended"

After that all I get is a cursor. Any one know how to fix this or will I have to reinstall slackware all together. I have no problem with reinstalling because I dont have any information on it thats worth saving. Also does anyone know of any alternatives to the Slackx repository packages?
