Buffalo USB wireless setup

Hi I have successfully installed BT3 on VMWare6 but I cannot get my wireless USB dongle to work, this is its model:

WLI-U2-KG54L

Now apparently the driver for this is zd1201 which can be downloaded from sourceforge as a tar or tar.gz.

Have tried to use this i.e. putting the files contained in the firmware directory but to avail.

Have also heard that I can use NDISWRAPPER - but not sure how this works.

Please could someone say the best of the 2 methods and give me a hint in the right direction.
