Linux Partition Type
I got a question.
I got some partition and I had try do mount it without sucess.
I know it is in /dev/hda4 but what I want to know is what is the type by default that the cfdisk give to the type "Linux" (It's 83 I guess not sure).
I try to mount ext3, ext2, reiserfs without sucess.
What maybe be wrong ?
Did you format the partiton? Odds are it's not formatted or you don't have kernel support for that type of fs. 8)
try formating it in ext2 and mounting it, ext2 is the 'lowest' level fs, and i think that by default, every kernel has support for it, so you would have had to removed support manualy.
YeAH try that that sounds good!
