packages of 10.2

hey guys,
can we install new packages of 10.2 in the older version(10.1)...

you can but I would advise against it, they aren't linked against the same libraries and might not run properly

get the 10.1 pkg or make it yourself. easiest way

shouldnt matter, any probs should tell you
its better to just try
rpms are norm ok on different versions
i advise doing it by source but
if i have the choice i norm do it by source
