Hi guys,
Is it possible install Slackware 9.1 on any LAPTOP?
I'd be hesitant to declare you can install it on any laptop, however, Slackware has very good hardware support and I'd venture to say you can install it on most. I've run Slackware on an old HP laptop and also on a Toshiba Satellite.
Welcome to the forums! :)
If you'll install the latest version of Slackware, as recommended above by techieMoe, you'll have much better hardware detection and a better chance of everything working. Most drivers are included in the Linux kernel and the kernel from Slackware 9.1 will be quite dated.
Either way, let us know how it all goes.
thanks guys,
so i have to decide I go for installing or not
