Scenario: WIFI Router, laptop and desktop both wireless enabled. laptop has XP and desktop has Linux installed. laptop has internet access but not the linux desktop.
on the linux desktop: the wifi detects 7 networks from the neighbourhood but cannot ping the router(my own) whose ip is 192.168.1.1. tried setting ip staticaly but to no avail!
please help :confused:
