install ATI driver on opensuse 10.3 prob

hi everyone
have install this drive ->openSUSE 10.3: AMD/ATI Drivers Installation « Linux and Open Source Blog
now i have ati control panel on my programs but click and nothing happends and for be nonest i never get ati driver running on linux ever always use nvidia and it,s easy to install
ati always problems please anyone can help appreciate thanks in advance
