How to set the password prompt upon starting of my machine

I have suse 10.3 install and i'm using kde desktop.

I want to set my machine where after turning on my laptop, instead of going straight to the desktop, it displays the password prompt. I will also like to set where after it goes into screen saver mode, upon touching my system, it prompt for a password instead displaying the desktop

Where can i set it thanks

In the Personal settings.

Personal settings-System Administration-Login Manager

For the Screen saver
Personal settings-Appearance & Themes-Screen Saver

and check the box labeled Requires Password to stop
