Recovery option

Hi
I am using Suse 10 server..
delete one folder from root user,
i used rm -rf command..so any chance to recovery that folder ...any tools is there..

Please me ...

Actually there is little chance. The Linux command line is unforgiving.

Here is a tool. but you must understand that anything you do now will lower your chances of recovery because the disk areas will be reused.

there are commercial programs also

note I have never used it so have no idea how well it works

PhotoRec can recover files of various types so you could take a look at it to see if it will work for you.

Use "debugfs" command may be it will helpful to you.
It enables you to correct the problem. Include the file system where the lost files are located: "debugfs usr/abc" would access the usr/abc directory. Use the "lsdel” to recover the list of all of the files that have been deleted on the file system. If your problems are not solved there also commercial services.I knows a linux data recovery software service. Stellar Phoenix Linux data recovery software provides complete recovery solution. You can download the free version from the site.
