Adobe flashplayer

Accessed a site for a streaming audio which indicated the most recent version of Adobe Flashplayer was required (no video). Installed through Yast using repositories. It works but, the volume is extremely low. All my other audio works fine and the alsa test works so I know it's not hardware/sound card. Any one else have similar problems?

Have you checked your sound levels in either kmix or gnome-volume-control? Maybe the PCM channel is turned down.

This may sound like a silly question but was the volume up on the video itself?

I am using Firefox 2.0.0.10. This is the site, blue icon top-left w/picture of an airplane:

www.azstarnet.com ® | StarNet Scanners
Checked sound mix and PCM at 100%.
There is a volume control on the site which I set to the highest level. It's just an audio transmission, no video.
I can hear it actually if I put my ear to the speaker with the volume on the site all the way up and my speakers all the way up.
I have it running on W2K and works. I rarely use windows so it's an inconvenience but...if anyone has any suggestions I'll try. I have several other distros on the cptr if anyone has had success. I also tried installing on Mandriva w/same results.

Thanks for your input.
