SUSE 10.3 Sound card problem
Hi

please help to set up Soundblaster XFi xtreme Audio sound card on SUSE Linux 10.3

also as root you can type alsaconf and setup ur card

Soundblaster may require the user to be a member of the audio group.

This sound card is NOT supported by alsa, and hence not directly supported by SUSE Linux ...
Creative X-FI

I have read that there is a beta (or alpha) version of an OSS driver for this card, and you could try searching and installing that driver
