[SOLVED] Password Problem on PuTTy

Hey everyone,
I'm running Windows XP and am having trouble connecting to putty. I had it working one evening, then the next day, after having changed some firewall settings and startup programs, it stopped working. I since put all the settings back the way they were but it still doesn't work. It allows me to type in my username then when it asks for my password it freezes. Anyone know what's going on?

Are you talking about firewall settings and startup programs on your XP machine or linux box? Are you sure the sshd is running on the linux box still?
