Is hyper threading enabled in suse 9.2 pro

Hi as above and how do you tell if hyper threading is enabled and how do you set the affinity for the program in windows(ties individual programs to the different cpus)

I'm not sure how you set the affinity, but on SuSE 9.1, Hyper threading worked fine. Just make sure that you get the "kernel-smp" package during install.

Hyper-threading does work with SuSE 9.1, and probably 9.2 though I haven't tried it. SuSE is smart enough to install the SMP kernel when it detects more than one CPU. I had 9.1 installed on a dual Xeon server and it showed up as 4 processors.
