I just installed SUSE 9.3 on a sony laptop and it is great. Except for one strange little problem. The builtin wireless (ipw2200) adapter works once installed but when I reboot the computer it doens't work anymore. This laptop had Ubuntu on it and it worked perfectly.
When I go into yast it has an entry for my wireless card and it has found a new one. I can get it to work by removing old entry in yast, then exiting yast, entering again and configuring the new entry.
I would really apreciate any help on this. Thanks

Oh yeah, when I choose to suspend instead of shutting down, the wireless works fine on the following boot. Has this to do with the firmware or the hotplug stuff?
