Suse 9.3 installation?

I have all 5 CD's and each burnt off. Everything is detected properly and I manually setup the partition table. The only problem I have is that no software is selected and I don't know how to do this manually. I tried sifting through the CD's, but I jsut don't know where to look for the packages.

BTW, I have only had disc 1 in the CD drive. So do I have to put the other CD's in to select the packages?

What do I do?

I'm not clear on what you are saying re: no software selected. When you run the Installation CD it will automatically install all the default software. The installation will ask for 3 CD's total (at least on 9.2 this is the case).
To add addtional packages you use the YAST tool to install them.

So please clarify what you mean.

Well, after setting up the partitions manually, I went back to the main screen adn selected accept. It gave me an error messege saying something was wrong. I scrolled down to see that no packages were selected or found on CD /(something) So I tried dueing it manually but I have no clue what to do. All in all, no packages are selected, not even the default ones.

Are you talking about the Installation screen?

Yes, I'm trying to install SuSE for the first time. It says that no packages are selected, so nothing can be done.

Since you said that you got an *error* messgage along the way and that you "manually" partitioned I suspect that's where your problem *might* be. As I said earlier the packages during the install are automatically installed so something is definatly wrong with your installation if it says no packages are installed. Check those partitions closely again is my suggestion.
