moved hd physical location...won't boot

Quick question...

I installed Suse 9.3 on hda1 and then later moved that drive to hdc1. Now SuSE won't boot. I know why it won't boot but I'm not sure how to fix it. Moving the hard drive with SuSE back to hda1 is not an option. During boot it stops at:

Waiting for device /dev/hda1 to appear: . ok
Attempting to manual resume
swsusp: Suspend partition has wrong signature?
Loading kernel/fs/reiserfs/reiserfs.ko
Waiting for device /dev/hda2 to appear: ...not found --exiting to /bin/sh
sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
$

and that is where it ends. How to I correct this issue. I am new to linux and don't know where to begin. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. Would System Repair correct this issue? Step by step instructions would be great.

Thanks in advance

Bob

You'll have to boot from the install CD and repair your GRUB installation to reflect the new location.

Thanks for your help. I gave that a try and it found errors, tried to correct them but I still couldn't get it to boot.

I ended up just reloading the OS with the drive attached where it needed to be.

Thanks again
