Setup the wireless again for the new network, and set it up everytime you have to change networks. 2. Use a program such as KWifiManager to manage the different wireless networks you connect to. 3. Use Yast's profile manager. Allows for seamless switching between differnet networks e.g. home and school. Also can configure more stuff e.g. which printers and things to use (something which KWifimanager can't do). Profile manager can be found in Yast -> System -> Profile Manager. __________________ Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.

neuromancerzero Just Joined! Join Date: Oct 2005 Posts: 27	Basically i connect with many networks so it is inefficient for me to configure it for all of them. Will kwifimanager just allow me to connect in a more simply way when i move location?

Kwifimanager will do this for you, as will SuSE's profile manager. With profile manager, you have to set up the correct ip and dns address for each network only once. Then when you want to switch networks, simply switch profiles.

Try this, enter the ip address of the AP in yast's entry for dns server (I don't know why yast should overwrite this for you). __________________ Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.
