Hi.
I just installed SUSE 10.0 on a new machine.
I configured this machine to use a SUSE 9.* host as a nameserver but I have trouble getting it to resolve hostnames properly on the localnet.
The DNS seems to be working but when I do a PING to one of the hosts on the local net it can't resolve the hostname.
I did not encounter this problem when I was configuring 9.* versions of SUSE.
Can anyone give me a hint or directions how to solve this.

Here is what happens:

hydra:/ # ping tiger.oh.local
ping: unknown host tiger.oh.local

hydra:/ # nslookup tiger.oh.local
Server: 192.168.0.3
Address: 192.168.0.3#53
Name: tiger.oh.local
Address: 192.168.0.3

The DNS connection to the Internet seem to be working OK.
hydra:/ # nslookup www.google.com
Server: 192.168.0.3
Address: 192.168.0.3#53
