Best Window Manager on Slow PC's

    Hi!

    I have approx 6pc, of which 2 are P3's.

I have to set them up for a school in Madagascar. So apprt from having to do it in French, I need to change the windows manager to something smaller than GNOME/KDE (Suse 10.2) so that the PC's can work reasonably well.

I would also prefer something that looks like xp (sorry for using bad language) because if my studetns have had ANY experience with pc's it would have been on XP

    Thanks

IceWM w/ PCMAN File Manager. Do a quick google of Icewm and PCMan. I've used on a Variety of systems like a 40mhz Overdrive w/32mb ram (Slackware 4) to my Fedora box which is 2.4ghz,512mb ram. It is easy to install and use. XFCE , and JWM are also good, but I have less experience with them.

You can try Xfce. its lightweight DE. There are a lot of Windows Managers available. Check here.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
