Preparing openSUSE 10.2 DVD
I want to download openSUSE 10.2 i386 DVD. I will be using Nero Burning Application to burn the ISO image to disk. Can I use the Make Bootable Data Disk option to make the DVD? After the quality of download is verified, and matches, do we only have to burn the ISO file and nothing else?
Will the computer boot from DVD even if the ISO image has a different name? Does it only depend on the type of DVD or the ISO name as well?"When you have nothing to say, say nothing."

For a bootable iso like the openSUSE DVD, its not necessary to use the option to "make bootable data disk". What you want, is to make sure that Nero burns the iso as a CD/DVD image and not a normal data disc. After checking the md5sums and burning the iso as an image, your disc will be ready for use.
The name you give the iso does not matter because when you burn it as an image, the right disc (or volume) name will be used on the CD/DVD.

Yep, Linux ISO images are bootable by default when burned properly. Here's a HowTo with instructions for properly burning your ISO file as an image to the CD:
