in windows go to run type devmgmt.msc drives you can delete the partition from there and add it to your windows partition

If you delete Linux Partition, you have to remove GRUB from MBR too.
Boot up from Windows Installation CD and select repair. Execute fixmbr. It will remove GRUB and GRUB Menu will not appear at startup. Windows will boot up by default.
Boot up Windows and delete partitions marked as Unknown from Disk Management Tool as suggested by scrarfussi. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

well raju that's why devils_casper said u need to remove grub by putting in your windows cd and doing fixmbr that wud remove GRUB.afterwards put ur suse 10.2 cd/dvd and go to installation and then click on update next next next that wud bring your GRUB .now boot up in your opensuse sustem and login as root.
then edit the /etc/grub/menu.lst just add this entry to it
title Windows XP
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1

SuSe creates /home partition by default and if deleted partition was /home, SuSe will not boot. GRUB Menu is appearing, it means, / (root) partition is safe.
There is no need to remove GRUB now. We have to find out what was in deleted Partition. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Sorry, i have deleted the linux partition before devils_casper's first message.
devils_casper is right actually, when i install linux first time it took 3 partitions, 1st for root, 2nd for home, 3rd for swap. Now i dont want home partition any more so i have deleted that partition, actually there is no data init excepet the default folders from linux home.
so thats why i can boot from GRUB but cant enter into linux becase of the deleted partion.
i hope this is clear now, so what would be the next move..
thanks in advance...
