opensuse 10.0 nvidia drivers
I was wondering how I can install the latest nvidia drivers on opensuse 10.0. When i try to follow the guide on opensuse.org. Yast tells me that I need a lot of kernel dependancies. It will not let me download kernel-source either, won't come up when I search. I don't want to upgrade to 10.2 since I finally got all my Novell Stuff setup (i could not accomplish this is 10.2 yet).

SuSE 10.0 is no longer supported. It would be a good idea upgrading. Anyway you can download the kernel modules from here and install the kernel-source from the dvd. I don't know if it is going to work. Post back if anyy problems

That sucks that it is not supported. I could not get the novell client and console one installed on 10.2. Is 10.1 still supported? I will try your suggestion, it is not mission critical since it is a work computer desktop effect are not that important.

Generally support is provided for current and previous version. Right now for 10.2 and 10.1. In October that suse 10.3 will be released support will stop for 10.1
Anyway if you can live without the eye candy stick with 10.0
