    Install problems

I was installing SuSE on my computer yesterday. I couldn't get the format function to work, but, using Gparted, I got past that. During install, everything goes fine, until the second CD is in. Toward the end of the second CD, nearly every file produces an error and wont install. I cleaned the CDs, thinking they were dirty, but the same thing happens. If I choose to ignore the errors and move on, the install fails. I think it might be my HDD, since windows install always fails as well. Any Suggestions?

I would suggest you to scan HD with Disk Utility provided by your HD's Manufacturer. You can use UBCD too. UBCD has a lot of HD Scanning and fixing tools.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
