    Unknown Static IP

    Hi,

I am using SUSE 10, and i am getting IP using dhclient, but when ever i restart my machine automatically it is picking up some static IP, i am not sure from where its picking up that IP. How ever when i say dhclinet its getting the correct IP. How can i remove that static IP ( i mean when ever i restart my machine it should get IP from dhcp server automatically).

Can some one help me on this.

    Thanks,
    Balaji

What is the static IP? You either need to add /sbin/dhclient to /etc/init.d/boot.local or reconfigure your network so that it automatically uses dhcp to get its IP address.
