    Exclamation Help Urgent! Usb Stick Or Dvd Not Working

    Hey i just installed suse 10.2 (not beta). Now whenever i plug in a USB or put in a cd/dvd, suse recognises it i.e. dialogue box comes up saying how do you want to open it. But when i try to view it to explore inside the storage device (to get my files from it) an error box comes up saying:

    Error - Konqueror

    Cannot obtain lock on /media/.hal-mtab

    Quick resposes would be appreciated as i need the drivers for my net on it :P

    P.S. I tried mounting the CD but the same error keeps on coming up,making me unable to mount it...

    to quickly fix try accessing as root.

    install autofs
