    Telnet Help

Ive been trying to access my email inbox using telnet. I've connected using open smtp.myisp.com 25. I'm having trouble getting to the in box. Do i use a similar command but with pop3 instead? I haven't been able to get anything with pop3 in it to work yet. When i connect with smtp. I get disconnected by a foreign host shortly after i connect. I'm using suse 10.

Why are you using telnet and not a mail client? If you *need* to use telnet, check the RFC for the commands.
