    SSID for the wireless router

I have a Trendnet wirelss network card and I installed madwifi and the card is idenified and working.

In the Windows original driver, you could scan and connect to a certain router, it does not look that madwifi works the same way.

The problem is I do not know were the SSID (router name) is entered in the Madiwifi/suse 10.2. I had already entered the Wep codes but the card is not connecting with the router. How do I scan for available networks and connect to one of them?

    Thank you for your help.

Gain root right by typing "su" in the konsole and your root password. Then
    iwconfig
to see which interface you are using.
    iwlist eth1 scan
where eth1 the name of your wireless interface.
