    Saving to Tumb Drives in openoffice?

    Why when i go to save a document to my thrumb drive in open office does it tell me i cant? and how do i fix this?

    have you mounted the t[H]umb?

    When you say "no luck", do you mean that an error message came up when you tried to mount the drive, or that the mount command worked correctly but you still cant save to that drive?

    And where exactly have you navigated to when you try to save - the image you posted suggests it's something in "/media", whereas when I ran suse* I found my usb drive as a subfolder of /mnt.

    It sounds like you are using the media:/ kio slave. Try browsing to /media/<insert name of your drive here> rather than clicking on the slave.
