I am a new user of suse, and actually of linux altogether. I have just installed suse on my laptop (toshiba satellite) and everything is running smoothly excepting my DVD drive. When I try to access my data DVD, it is giving me an error, and under details it is telling me that it is unable to mount the device.

I have read through other help threads, and have not found any information that has been of any help to be thus far. As I stated earlier, I am new to suse, so any help that is provided will have to be like 'Suse help for dummies.' Or, maybe 'suse help for completely useless fools'. Either way, the help will certainly be greatly appreciated as all of my pictures and music from my vista (choking) OS are currently unaccessible.
