    Hey,
    Does it throw any errors? Just when you tried to configure LAN, open your terminal and post the output of

    tail -f /var/log/messages
    Does your LAN is detected by Suse. Also post the output of :-

    #dmesg
    #lspci
    Check your LAN card is been supported by Suse hardware compatibility list here:-
    Hardware - openSUSE
    Regards,

    who |grep -i blonde |
    date; cd~; unzip; touch;
    strip; finger; mount; gasp;
    yes; uptime; umount;
    sleep

    hey... thanxz for the link for hardware devices
    i think that the Network card is not supported by SUSE Linux 10.1
    but what you will prefer for my system should I install SUSE Linux 10.2 which supports or should i get rid of SUSE and try some other Linux Flavor
