    Red face Help me play Video in openSUSE 10.2

    hello friends,

    I am new to linux and i dont know which software is the best for playing audio and video files.
    And i dont know how to install the rpms too.

    Plz help me in the installation.

    To install a RPM type:

    Code:
    rpm install <RPM NAME>
    As for the software, it depends on personal tastes as to which one is best. For video I personally prefure to use VLC Player. It's very easy to install in OpenSUSE - VLC media player for Linux SUSE

    openSUSE comes with Kaffeine. If you add libdvdcss it will play video dvds. I believe libdcdcss is in the non-oss repo - if not google it then d/l the rpm and do as described in the previous post for rpms.
