    How to stop auto-login

A few days ago, I installed SUSE 10.2 (switching from Fedora). Overall, I am pleased with it except for one annoyance. When I start SUSE, it automatically starts up in a user account, by-passing the log-in screen.

What is going on? How can I get SUSE to go to the log-in rather than going right to a user accunt?

Go to YAST control, security and users, user management, select the particular user and under expert options, select login settings, uncheck auto login and click on ok, you should be good to go

In Yast go to user management , it will bring up your user/s then go expert options down the bottom and login settings then uncheck auto login.

oops we both typing response at the same time - well its good to know we are right.
