    help, can't login anymore!!!

    Hi, guys,

I can not login anymore with my normal account. whenever I try, it will logout instantly and it says " your session only lasted less than 10 seconds. if you have not logged our yourself, this could mean that there is some installation problem or that you may be out of diskspace. Try logging in with one of failsafe sessions to see if you can fix this problem." And, I know I did not run out of space!
Also, in the detail error log, which is ~/.xsession-errors file BTW, it says the following,
" /etc/opt/gnome/gdm/PreSession/Default: Registing your session with wtmp and utmp
    /etc/opt/gnome/gdm/PreSession/Default: running: /usr/bin/sessreg -a -w /var/log/wtmp -u /var/run/utmp -x "/var/lib/gdm/:0.Xservers" -h "" -l ":0" "username"
/etc/x11/xinit/xinitrc.common: line 65: xmessage: command not found
/etc/x11/xinit/xinitrc.common:line 193: exec: xterm: not found
    "
I am using openSUSE 10.2 and I am quite new to linux.
I can still log in with root, please let me know how to fix this.

    Thanks guys!

    K

The easy solution have you tried to install xterm . In your root session
    Code:
    zypper in xterm
