Problem with transfering files from Linux to Windows and

    Dear friends,
I have the following problem. I compiled a program in a pc running Suse Linux 9.2, transfered it to a pc running Windows XP SP2 and then back to the same pc with Linux. When I ran the program it crashed with no messages. Do you have any suggestions of what might be the problem?

Thanks for any help in advance,
    Savas

Is this an exe?? is it the source you are transferring/editing on the PC? check for CRLF Unixs only uses CR no LF. How are you transferring? if using FTP be sure that you use binary mode for exe's

No it is not a source, it is a binary of a fortran program which I compiled in Linux. Then I emailed it to myself, switched to Windows, zipped the file with some other stuff and then emailed it back to myself. When I used it from Linux again it was not working...

    Any ideas,
