Mouse problem with ATI drivers in 10.3

K, so I solved my problems with trying to install ati drivers and not haveing them work, so now it works, just not properly. First, when I initally restart my x server, my resolution is out of whack, then when i restart my x server again my mouse is like, out of sync or something. I'll click where my mouse pointer "supposedly" is and then I click like, 3 inches above the intended target. The closer I am to the top, the closer my mouse is in sync.
    WHAT is going on?

I found out that the ATI drivers for opensuse 10.3 repo are for Radeon HD cards only, so you need todo things the hard way...
