Freecom DVB-T USB Stick
I have a Freecom DVB-T USB Stick (25451-rev.3) and have managed to get it recognised by downloading the dvb-usb-wt220u.fc03.fw firmware file to my /lib/firmware directory. I also followed all of the advice on LinuxTV.org - Television with Linux and installed the v4l software on my openSUSE 10.2 machine and whilst being able to scan for channels, could never get any found.
Due to a lot of messing about with the kernel through all this, I decided to go for a clean install and took the opportunity to upgrade to openSUSE 10.3 (kernel 2.6.22.9-0.4-default). With this same firmware, my stick is recognised and shows OK in dmesg but neither the scan utility or kaffeine will find any channels (with scan giving a 'filter timeout pid' message).
I have not installed anythig else other than the firmware file due to running the 2.6 kernel - should be included?
Can anyone help shed some light on this?
TIA
Steve Baxter
