    could not start kdeinit

    I have installed Suse Linux 10.2 recently on my computer. Until yesterday it was working properly.
    I also installed Oracle 11g yesterday. After that I restarted system today morning. And I am getting some problems.
    I get an error at the start " COULD NOT START KDEINIT. CHECK YOUR INSTALLATION". After I click okay button, It starts in Text Mode. Not in Graphics mode as it should.
    Does anyone here knows what needs to be done.

    I also have installed Windows XP in the same system.

    I installed some rpm packages yesterday because Oracle needs them. Was it the reason for it?

    I am new to Linux.So please tell the solution in some detail.

    After installing Oracle a whole list of packages which my system lacks was given. I only installed about 2 or 3 of them.

    They were 2 or 3 among these. I am sorry I can't remember specifically beause of their complex names.

    libaio
    libaio-devel
    libgcc
    libstdc++
    libstdc++
    binutils

    I erase all content of /etc/ld.so.preload. You attempt do it!
