Question Need help on installing a network printer

I have a small network with 10 machines all running Linux (SuSe9). On one machine is a HP Laserjet5 printer connected by USB cable. I want to share that printer so that everyone of the other machines can print to it. Essentially, make it a network printer for everyone.
I have played around with CUPS to no avail.
Any detailed steps to set this up would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

You can run Linux printing via Internet Printing Protocol. Wouldn't bother with SMB because it's an unnecessary layer of complication. There is a howto Linux print server here using IPP:
HowTo: Linux Print Server on a Linux-Windows Home Workgroup
Even though it's written for Linux/windows, there's the Linux/Linux option presented too which is easy to focus on. BUT I don't know how it will work for SuSe9, have a look.
