No sound Suse 10.3
I installed suse 10.1 then upgraded to 10.3 well i did a new installation of 10.3 via the internet install method
i have no sound when i open kmix in kde there is no option and its muted out
which isnt cool. does any one have any idea how i can figure this out. or what repositories i can add or how to add them ha!

Have you tried running the sound card configuration tool in YAST. It should be under the hardware section.

i tired that method and it pickes up the sound card but ...
when i open kmix its muted and shows me no options still..
i dont know what sound card i have i think its an onboard..

Can you run the command hwinfo as root and post the output of the section labeled "Multimedia Audio Controller".
