I would like my machine which is running Windows XP to dual boot with SuSe 10.3 but I do not know how to do this. Could someone please help me with this? I have searched Google and have found results for Dual booting XP and SuSe 10.1 but I want dual-booting for SuSe 10.3 and XP, please help.

    Welcome to the forums!

The Suse installer pretty much guides you through the entire process. You will need free space (unallocated space) to install Suse, but the installer will do most of the work for you. It will set up the dual-boot options, too.

    Have fun with Linux!

Yes, the Suse installer should see WinXP on the drive and give you the option to dual boot. Just don't let the installer use the entire drive for installing Suse.

ok, one more question and thanks for all your help. So your saying that it SHOULD see WinXP and I shouldnt let the installer use the entire drive, does this mean it will use the remaining space that XP didnt use?

Yes, it will look for free space. If your XP install takes up all the drive, you'll need to shrink your XP partition so that unallocated space will exist for Suse. If this is the case, you would be wise to defragment your hard drive before allowing any shrinking of partitions.

I'm pretty sure the suse installer will allow you to do that. If not, then you can look at the Parted Magic LiveCD:

    Parted Magic

It's a small download and burn to CD, and is very easy to use. Good instructions for using it can be found on their website.

The opensuse disks will do it for you - just go ahead. You can practise when you get to the partitioning section and if you're not happy with the results abort and start again. Unless you go all the way through to the install screen and hit confirm it won't make any changes to your hard disk.
