why does this error keep coming up?

Failure occurred during following action: Shrinking partion /dev/sdal to 112.9 GB.
    System error code -3027 echo y | ntfsresize -f-s111153735k/dev/sdal:ntfsresize v1.11.2
ERROR (95) Opening '/dev/sdal' as NTFS failed: Operation not supported.
Apparently the NTFS Journal File is unclean. Please shut down Windows properly before using this software.
If it wouldn't help then please report to linux-ntfs-dev@lists.sf.net.
    Thank you.
what do I do to fix this problem?
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Never mind, fixed

Which Package are you using to shrink NTFS Partition? Have you tried Parted Magic LiveCD?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
