Unknown graphic driver in OpenSuse 10.2
Hi guys,
I am new to this linux OS and have just started using Open Suse about 5 months ago. Anyway, I, first installed it on my laptop which uses a SIS650 graphic card and the driver was recognized and installed automatically during installation. And following that, I installed Open Suse 10.2 on my new Dell desktop ( Inspiron 350 ) hoping that Open Suse would detect the drivers, but it did not, I have searched Dell's and Intel's website for linux drivers but to no avail. They only provide for windows.
My chipset : Detected Chipset: Intel(R) G33 Express Chipset
Integrated Graphics: Intel(R) 82G33 Graphics and Memory Controller Hub
I have tried searching the net for other resources, the only solution i seem to have is to build my own driver -- according to the intel-linux drivers website.
My questions are :
a) are there tools like ndiswrapper (which is for wireless windows driver) available for graphic driver in which I can convert windows drivers to linux
b) Or should I just build my own driver as recommended in the website
c) Maybe I have missed out the driver, could someone kindly point them out
Thank You
